On 11.06.2021 from 10:00 am around the Statue of Mineral Water in the village of Mineralni Bani, a promotional event will be held, organized within the project № B2.6c.19 «Mineral trails: Vacation and nature for a moment (MINERAL PATHS) », funded under the INTERREG VA Cooperation Program Greece-Bulgaria 2014-2020.
The host of the event is the Municipality of Mineralni Bani, which is also a leading partner in the project.
The general goal of the event is to inform the general public, local authorities, representatives of the tourism industry, non-governmental organizations and others. for the purposes of the project, the planned activities and the expected results.
Within the event, the official start of the repair works on the Public Bath in the village of Mineralni Bani will be given. The public bath, which is supplied with geothermal mineral water, is essential for the development of the Mineral Baths as a national resort. Construction and repair activities include repair of the roof, strengthening of the structural elements of the building, replacement of water supply installation, replacement of parts of the sewerage, repair of the heating system, repair of electrical installation, construction of lightning protection and earthing installation. The scope of the renovation also includes renovation of the premises, which includes laying plaster, terracotta tiles, floor heating, thermal insulation of the walls, repair of the men’s and women’s locker rooms. The contractor of the construction and installation activities is DZZD PI Stroyconsult.
The project also envisages activities for development and promotion of the tourist product “Mineral Roads”, which aims to promote and develop the natural heritage of mineral springs, as a means to promote tourism and increase competitiveness in the cross-border region.
